Jane was born in Pembrokeshire in 1966 and grew up on the outskirts of Swansea and it is these places that have instilled a love of the sea, beaches and open spaces. She went on to London to study for 4 years for a BA Science in Hospitality and Management. Following her studies she went for a holiday to Hong Kong which lasted 4 years.

Jane has always been interested in all forms of art and began experimenting in different mediums; watercolour, pen & ink and acrylic during this period. Jane married an American in 1994 and has travelled widely throughout the USA. Her experiences of city life in London, Hong Kong and the USA have inspired her urban landscapes and frenetic city scenes with rainy streets.
